The actual number of beds in the hospital was 3,820, and the number of outpatients per day was about 6,000. The hospital has 3269 employees, 52 clinical departments, 7 medical technology departments, and 86 wards.
The first session adopted Cisco Catalyst 6509 wireless management modules as controller, with 280 pcs of AP1131 to cover 4 buildings. Based on this, the hospital's digital medical treatment can realize the pilot application of wireless devices (such as wireless electrocardiogram, wireless rounds, etc.); it can guarantee the PACS can be called anytime and anywhere; can be used for clinical information systems, such as electronic medical records (EMRS), inspection Projects such as the Information System (LIS), laying the foundation for high transmission rates.

They decided to go Aruba for our campus switching for several reasons. Firstly, the new ArubaOS-CX line had the density and feature set required at the core; Secondly, the insistence on pushing API capabilities on both ArubaOS and ArubaOS-CX line was an eye opener and certainly seems to be in line with where the network industry is heading; Thirdly, they thought Aruba was more extensible regarding NAC, dynamic VLANs, and overlay capabilities when combined with Aruba Mobility Controllers and Clearpass.
